BOOK SUMMARY:

Cuba Dreaming is a unique coffee table photographic book documenting Cuba's suburban and rural landscapes in black & white and color photography. Along with the images, it features original tracks composed by prominent musicians, a DVD of interviews, vivid essays and drawings by Cuban children. This project's launch, in conjunction with it's traveling, international gallery show, will be a multi-faceted, high-profile, media event. Cuba Dreaming is not just a book, but a fine-art collector's item.

The book will contain stories by Juliet Funt, nationally renowned speaker and daughter of Candid Camera's Allen Funt, as well as text by award winning author Christopher Baker. Baker has written on behalf of Time-Life, National Geographic, Newsweek and BBC World and more than 150 other publications worldwide.

PREPUBLICATION PRINT + BOOK OFFER - HOW IT WORKS:

The limited edition version of the book will feature a special leather casing and leather slipcase. Each one will be hand numbered and signed by Lorne Resnick and any celebrities involved with the project. This book will be strictly limited to 250 copies.

Until the book goes to press we will be offering people the opportunity to purchase one fine art print and one limited edition book for $425.00 off the retail price:

There are two prepublication purchase offers available:

1. One 20x24 fine art print ($625.00 value) + one limited edition book ($650.00 value) = $1,275.00 retail value.

2. One 30x44 fine art print ($1,250.00 value) + one limited edition book ($650.00 value) = $1,900.00 retail value.

Can I see the dummy book first?

Yes, you can see the full dummy book online at: http://www.cubadreaming.com or call (see contact details below) and we will make arrangements for you to come to the Los Angeles studio to see a full sized dummy or send one to you.

When do I get my limited edition book?

Book will be delivered within 2-3 weeks of publication.

When do I get my print?

Prints will be delivered within 4 weeks of your selection. You have the option of waiting to see the complete book after publication, and selecting any available image from the book as your print.

What if I want my print right away without waiting for the book?

You are more than welcome to choose a print first. Delivery on selected prints right now is about 4-6 weeks. Once the book comes out the limited edition version will be delivered to you immediately.

What if the prints edition is sold out and I can't have the image I want?

Since each image is limited to a total of 60 prints (fifty @ 20"x24" & ten @ 30"X44") there is a possibility an edition will be sold out. However, those who take advantage of one of the packages above, will be given first choice of print when the book is launched and they will be more likely to get any image they like.

What exactly is a limited edition print?

Each image is printed on archival paper with pigmented ink and limited in Edition size. The prints are hand numbered, signed and titled.

The structure of each edition is such that as the edition sells out the prices for subsequent prints increase.

Each image is strictly limited to a total edition number of 60 prints, broken down as follows:

Edition one: is limited to 50 prints. Measurements and prices are as follows:

Image size: (approx.) 10X15 inches printed on 13X20 paper.

FRAMING & MATTING:
Each print comes matted out to a final sizes indicated above. The mats used are museum white, four ply, archival safe and pH neutral. The mats will be bevel cut with approximately a one-inch opening around the actual image. Framing and glass are customer's responsibility.
